The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signature ceremoney was conducted by the Ethiopian Minister of Agriculture (MoA) Girma Amente (PhD) and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Precision Development (PxD) Niriksha Shetty.
On the occasion, the two parties have agreed to realize Project management Unit (PMU) for the Implementation of the Digital Agriculture Roadmap (DAR) in Ethiopia.
The Agreement between MoA and PxD aims to establish a well-coordinated PMU that ensures the effective implementation of key digital agriculture.
PxD is under taking the implementation of the PMU for the Implementation of DAR in Ethiopia by the fund of the Gates Foundation for two years (December 2025 to February 2027).
The budget of the Project is about 3 million USD and the grant comes from the Gates Foundation (GF) to support this project and will be channeled to PXD.
