Ethio-Seed System is built to connect seed producers with seed consumers in Ethiopia. With a timely and accurate data on seed production and demand, the platform provides opportunities for informed decision-making for both private and public stakeholders.
Irrigation Management Information System of Ethiopia (IMISET) is a national web-based information system on irrigated agriculture at national, regional, basin and sub-basin scales. The objective of IMISET is to support in monitoring of the performance and status of irrigated agriculture and making informed decisions and timely planning of appropriate measures by providing accurate and up-to-date information presented in a consistent and standard way. IMISET collects, analyzes and disseminates data and information on irrigated area, water use and production.
The purpose of the computer-based Agricultural Management Information System (AMIS) is to gather, process, store, and distribute information about agricultural management. It is especially designed to satisfy the demands of farmers, policymakers, and agricultural organizations engaged in the production and management of agriculture.
This site is administered and curated by the Ministry of Agriculture departments of Food Security Coordination and the Department of Natural Resource Management. The site was initiated by Productive Safety Net Program’s Public Works and Livelihoods coordination units and its primary purpose is to promote the institutionalization of climate smart mainstreaming in the PSNP through management and dissemination of related knowledge products generated by the PSNP and other MoA programs. Its primary beneficiaries are the experts and frontline staff of the MoA, partners and rural community organizations.
